Not sure if this is a bug or not.
I would like to play Minecraft Bedrock for PC with a switch controller. I have a wired Power A Controller and Wireless Joy Cons. I connected try connecting via Bluetooth or USB. It connected. I joined Minecraft. It doesn't think I have a controller. Same for wired Pro Controller. I tried everything. Steam Input to make it mimic an Xbox Controller. Didn't work. Try to run Minecraft Bedrock through steam. Failed. Access denied. Even without steam it didn't work. Here's the thing. When connecting Joy cons to iPad, it works for both Bedrock Edition and for Education Edition. However, it uses Xbox Controls like it's an Xbox controller. So why isn't this a feature for PC? I am not sure if this is a bug or that switch controller connection isn't a feature. It would be a bummer if it isn't a feature and it would be nice if developers add switch controller compatibility as not everyone has an Xbox controller.
