Hello, in light of recent bugs and exploits caused by Minecraft PS4 Edition being connected in the same game of Minecraft for PS4 I'd like to propose a possible change to how Minecraft for PS4 and Minecraft PS4 Edition are related to cease any further bugs/exploits occuring.

Let's start off by reviewing the current system: Currently the methodology of accessing the PlayStation 4 Edition is by launching Minecraft Bedrock Edition and using the "Editions" tile to then be transferred to the PlayStation 4 Edition, at first glance nothing seems wrong with this but there are 3 major reasons in why this is a bad approach. Firstly, we're seeing an elevated level of players having issues with this button disappearing suddenly on them. Secondly, the way of accessing the PlayStation 4 Edition being on the main menu of Minecraft for PS4 would promote playing the older version instead of the modern version. Finally, a much more increased file size for Minecraft for PS4, due to them being in the same game, the file size of Minecraft for PS4 is increased by a serious amount, taking up much more space on the Console.

Despite the current system being inherently bad, it also creates many more problems for the Mojang team with over the past few years it has caused countless bugs, most notably the "Spawn Egg Crash" "Book Crash" "Lighting Issues" and many more, 2 of the mentioned ones have been fixed which means Mojang has had to spend time fixing these issues, if my proposal is accepted no bugs/exploits will ever happen again.

      The Proposal:

I believe, and hereby recommend, based on the information provided that Mojang should separate the Minecraft for PS4 game and the Minecraft PlayStation 4 Edition into two separate games, in-turn no longer having any player complaints about losing the "Editions" tile, decreasing Minecraft for PS4's file size, no longer promoting the older version of the game and permanently ceasing anymore more bugs/exploits from occuring. This is proven to work immaculately on the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch consoles, with no complaints or newly occuring bugs/exploits being found on the Xbox One Edition and the Nintendo Switch Editions. This provisioned example would evidently provide players with a better game experience.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my proposal.
