Recently, all in-game ui (or container) transparent background opacity has been changed to be more transparent, these changes creates parity issues, as on Java Edition all in-game/container ui has a much darker transparent background.
Affected UI:
- Anvil
- Barrel
- Beacon
- Blast furnace
- Book
- Brewing stand
- Cartography table
- Chest (Small chest, Large chest, Ender chest)
- Command Block
- Crafter
- Crafting table
- Dispenser
- Dropper
- Emote wheel
- Enchantment table
- Furnace
- Grindstone
- Hopper
- Loom
- Mob Effect
- Player Inventory
- Shulker box
- Sign/Hanging Sign
- Smoker
- Smithing table
- Stonecutter
- Trading
Steps to reproduce:
- Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition and Minecraft: Java Edition
- Load into any world
- Set the time to day: /time set day
- Open inventory on both games
- Observe
Expected results:
Both game has the same transparent background opacity.
Observed results:
Minecraft: Bedrock Edition has a more transparent background than Java Edition.
Note:
Entity Inventory (like Horse, Camel, etc) has the same transparent background opacity on both games and are unaffected by this issue.
