Today, i tried to build a pen for striders in lava. I wanted to build it out of crimson wood planks, but i kept getting burned while bridging. I stepped away, and observed some strange behavior with the crimson and warped wood planks. They catch on fire despite being fire proof. They do not get destroyed after burning, and the fire will extinguish itself and then reignite repeatedly. It’s like they want to burn up like most wood types, but they can’t.

expected results - placing crimson wood planks and warped wood planks in lava would behave normally, not catching on fire as they are supposed to be immune.

observed outcome- the wood types kept catching on fire despite being fireproof

steps to reproduce - go to the nether or any body of lava, and place crimson or warped wood in it and it will catch in fire. .
