Description:
The recent update to the touch control system has optimized the mining experience on the touchscreen, reducing accidental taps and improving overall usability. However, the update has also changed the mining speed, which is now out of sync with the expected performance. This report aims to document the issue and provide detailed steps to reproduce it, along with the observed and expected results.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Launch the mining application and navigate to the mining settings.
- Obtain a Netherite Pickaxe with the highest available enchantment level for mining efficiency in Survival Mode.
- Use the Netherite Pickaxe to mine stone blocks via the touchscreen interface.
- Observe the durability loss of the pickaxe while mining.
Observed Results:
The mining speed is currently set at 36k/h, which is slower than the previous speed of 72k/h. Additionally, the durability loss rate of the Netherite Pickaxe is 10 per second.
Expected Results:
The mining speed should be adjusted back to 72k/h to match the improved touch control performance. The durability loss rate should be consistent with the Java Edition, which is 20 per second. The mining process should be both efficient and free from accidental touches, ensuring optimal performance.
