Created a random flat world, used Add-On called "Villager Guards", created a small village (well, lg house, 2 sm houses, library, butcher, blacksmith, church), populated it with 14 villagers and 12 guards. Noticed the with in 10 minutes guards were passed 32 block of well (center of village). Checked "Villager Guards" behavior and spent 2 days tweaking priorities and speed multipliers for both "minecraft:behavior.move_through_village" and "minecraft:behavior.random_stroll". No matter how much I increased or lowered priority compared to "random_stroll", the guards slowly fleed (North East, I think). I had increased the "move_through_village speed multiplier so I could see when it would kick in, but it would only run once (when guard was spawned), then never again even after 10 minutes. The "random_stroll" ran most of the time which I believe is why the guards traveled so far so quickly even when I dropped their speed multiplier to 0.25. I have included screen shots and the Village Guard script.
What should happen is guard should move slowly randomly about, but then more times than not head back to Village, before wandering aimlessly again.
What does happen is guards just wander allow slowly with the a few of the villagers.
