While playing Minecraft PE 1.1.4, I was playing around in the crafting menu. Apparently, while clicking on the sand block icon in the 3x3 grid, it's labeled as "Red Sand." I've tried this many times, relaunching the game and changing to the original texture pack just to be sure. This only happens with Concrete Powder, and it happens to all dyed concrete powders in the crafting menu. Screenshots included.
