After I finally find a stronghold with an End portal I get prepared. Here is a list of everything I did before entering the portal. Please read there is a method to my madness.

Destroyed the silverfish spawner
Light up the room with torches
Covered the doorway with blocks
got rid of the lava on the sides and under the portal frame
Activated the Portal by placing in 11 eye of enders (1 already in place)
Placed down 1 bed, 1 Ender Chest, 2 Shulker boxes full of backup gear incase the dragon gets me. ( I left all of these there in the portal room)
Waited till night, slept to set new spawn point.
Drank night vision potion just for kicks.

Ok I enter the portal.
Fight the Dragon. it's now a tad bit harder than the Xbox edition version. fun fight though got the Ender dragon dead.

So now I took the newly generated portal to look for end cities, after loading in and looking around I realize I don't have any rockets. I head back through the end portal and ender pearl over to the Exit portal. I then jump in and the Credits start to roll. I hit Skip and Here it is folks! I appear in the portal room! BUT!!!! There is no light, there is no blocked door, no bed, no Ender chest, no shulker boxes, I hope your picking up what i'm putting down. But here is the kicker the End portal is not active anymore back to 1 eye of ender already in it.

So there you have it.. Kill the dragon and lose my bed/ender chest/ and 2 shulker boxes full of back up gear.

Seeing how this was the 6th or 7th Stronghold or just random nothingness the the eyes of ender have lead me to finally find a portal room and I'm guessing well over a few thousand blocks away from the area I call home, I was a bit peeved.

Mainly don't want this to happen again or to anyone else, So I figured I would let you know and give as much details of the scenario as possible..

BTW the Seed is -866662612 and at least 3-4 of the closest spots that the Eyes of ender lead me to, I either couldn't find any sign of a stronghold at all or just no End portal within what I found.
