Sometimes when I'm offline riding the bus the game doesn't timeout when trying to sign into Xbox Live, or at least within a few minutes. Usually it times out in less than a minute. I'm not sure why it does or doesn't, restarting the game can make it start but never go away. In addition, I think it's a great opportunity to have a skip button in addition to cancel so we can skip sign in as well as cancel trying to play. Using an Xperia XA, does not happen on my ThinkPad E570 and will try on my Lumia 640 later.
