NOTE: Tried to set this as an enhancement request, but only "Bug" was available in the "Issue Type" dropdown.

This has been observed on: Windows 10, XBox One, Android.

I previously played Minecraft Java edition up to just after the "horse" update. Coming back to the new "Cross platform" (bedrock) edition I have encountered a "Feature" which I feel would benefit from users being able to toggle between active and inactive.

      Current Behaviour:
Currently, when a player holds down the "place" control whilst stationary Minecraft will place one item (expected). However as soon as movement is added Minecraft will rapidly place blocks with very little delay, almost as if using a controller with "rapid fire".
This makes it rather difficult to place blocks (especially half blocks, water, torches, stairs, fences etc) accurately and quickly whilst moving around the area. I constantly find myself having to needlessly destroy double placed blocks where there should be none.

      Previous observed behaviour:
In older Java versions the same behaviour noted above could be seen BUT there appeared to be a much longer delay between block placement. I.e. a user could comfortably move and place blocks without a "rapid fire" placement being forced upon them.
As a result of the slower auto placement speed I was more easily, without much frustration, place half blocks/torches on the move accurately.

      Enhancement Request:
      Either:

      • Toggle in settings for autoplacement On/Off
      • --> On would result in current behaviour
      • --> Off would result in one "click" per placement
        Or:
      • A "delay" slider in settings to increase/decrease the delay between the auto placement of blocks
      • ---> e.g. a scale of 1-10 where "1" is as current, "9" is approx 1 second and "10" would be basically off.
