Xbox
On our world, which we converted from xbox one edition to bedrock, entering the End portal will crash the game 100% of the time on our level.
- If the host enters the portal, it crashes his game.
- If I enter the portal on my own xbox (while he hosts), it still crashes his game (and I'm then kicked out because the host left).
We hoped the most recent update on Oct 20th would have fixed this but all it did was allow the host to enter the portal just long enough to auto-save the game and crash it.
Because of auto-save, our world is now 100% unloadable. It instantly crashes when loading our world.
We can enter the portal on other worlds without issue but our main world with all the hours and hard work put into it is now literally gone. We can't enter the game or it will crash.
Very unhappy about this one. It effectively forced us to roll back our progress to pre-bedrock.
That being said, after re-importing the world from xbox one edition, we CAN enter the End without isue. We lost a month's worth of work but there's nothing else we can do.
Worth noting - the End looks different than it used to despite being the same world. The portal shifted about 40-60 blocks in a different direction on top of a floating mountain that was never there before. Also when I exited the End through the normal portal, it placed me randomly inside one of our structures in the overworld. The rest of our party re-spawned in the overworld in the typical location.
