PLEASE CLOSE THIS ISSUE:
It was my specific device giving me fits.

Whenever I select an armor item from my inventory and try to add it to the appropriate armor slot it won't place/move to that slot. I also can't place anything in my alternative hand slot.

When I select an armor item I'm already wearing it pops up as an item but I can't place it in a free inventory slot. My only choice is to then drop the item a pick it back up. Which means I can take the armor off but can never put any on.

I was originally playing in the Pocket Edition when it updated to the Bedrock 1.2 codebase and has been a problem ever since.

Any help would be appreciated since playing in Survival without armor is a bit of a problem.
