Expected behavior: Selecting an item, then deselecting it should immediately remove the "hover name" from above the hotbar.
Observed behavior: The name of the item stays in place while the hand is empty, and eventually fades out.
To reproduce: Add one item to an empty hotbar. Scroll to it and notice its name has appeared over the hotbar. Quickly scroll to an empty slot, and notice the name is still there, and will remain until it fades out naturally.
Attached is a video showing first the behavior in Bedrock Edition, then the behavior in Java Edition. It's unintuitive for an item name to be shown above the hotbar when the player is holding no item.
