Okay so I am in the same boat as with the rest of the people complaining that their items are disappearing when they go to collect or mine. I don't know what I was thinking, but I was playing around with new resource packs and bought one. I activated the pack and tried it out. I was once again able to mine. I thought to myself if I changed the pack back to it's original state would it possibly be fixed. I tried it out and sure enough I was once again able to mine in regular mine craft
