I respawned and killed the ender dragon which created a new end gateway portal as expected however every time that I throw an ender pearl into the portal it teleports me inside the portal and I start suffocating the only way to get out of this is to throw another ender pearl and to spam jump. 

this issue happened on realms, I have also created a copy of the world and tried it locally to rule out it being lag but it is still the same offline
