My Minecraft version is 1.4.2, which is NOT LISTED. My attempts at searching led be OLD map issues, and NOT to my current  stuck white locator, and blank parchment rendering on maps. Your user interface is wearisome! No doubt, you are used to navigating it. I just do not have hours of time to make you system work for me. It is UNREASONABLE to expect me to spend more that 15 to 30 minutes searching. I will do that. In the past, I have gotten invalid, or resolved as responses, to ongoing issues. You have been quite useless in the past. The only real useful responses have come from Pixel Heads and Imagiverse, on YouTube!  At the Minecraft forum, others have posted that all current map issues have been merged at Jira. At Jira, several weeks ago, I did find mention of lack of centering, related to moving a map to the other hand. I do not usually move maps to a different hand, so that is not MY issue. My issue is that making maps, and posting them to a map world, is a MAJOR part of every Minecraft World and game I create! The so-called vanilla Minecraft is VERY BORING to me. My main Worlds are purchased from the Minecraft Store. Shame on Minecraft, Mojang, Xbox, etc for forcing updates upon users before developers have a change to PREVENT the damage that happens! If there is a report on fixing MY map issues, please post it a format that is easy to see, and a place that is easy to find.
