In any of my worlds, old or new, mining blocks would crash my game, it would sometimes happen immediately or a minute after mining. 

My entire window would freeze and then close. Sometimes it wouldn't freeze and it just shows a blue screen, making me still be able to hear me mining or go into the settings if I tried, but I can't see anything but blue

The blocks also aren't very specific, it would be wood, coal, stone, doors, anything.
