Ever since the 1.13 beta released mc starts up extremely slow. It'll take about a good minute or two to even show up the "Minecraft" Starting logo.

This also happens when loading up any world. Takes about 2 minutes to "Update a pack" and about another 2 minutes to Load up the world. 

So in total it takes about 10 minutes just to get into the game itself.
