I know seeds affect where and how much lava appears when mining, but there is ridiculously little lava in this seed in beta. I have explored about 1,000 out in every direction and have seen a number of lava flows, all started from one block only. I have mined down to level 6 and 11 and have mined out in different directions and have found no lava.
Some caves in the area have lava streams, again all from one block of lava. In total I have come across 10 blocks of lava to obtain obsidian. I had been thinking of contacting you in production to lower the amount of lava in the game. There were too many pools of lava through out the seed, but in beta lava is almost non existent.

Shortly after making this post I came across approx 40 blocks of lava in 2 pools. There was no challenge to it. Once I poured water on it, it was like mining any other block. There was no challenge to it. I would suggest having some pools at least 2 to three blocks deep and a little more common,

I've since gotten Elytra wings and have flown up to 10,000 blocks in 2 directions, 4 - 5,000 in the other two. Found only 2 small pools of lava, 5 single block streams.

I have found a pool of lava. It was an opening in a village pathway that dropped 2 blocks down.  It was approx 3 x 3 opening n the pathway. So far it is 3 levels deep. I am happy I found it but why are most village towns a death trap? Most have cliffs, or ravines under the town causing the villagers to drop in them and either die or be trapped for mobs. I would suggest that villages be somewhat safe in terms of terrain.
