My friend and I were breeding villagers to send to our raid farm. We were gonna send them through a portal, into the nether, and out the other side. The breeding place and raid farm were about 1000 blocks away. When one villager was bred we were confused because it somehow linked to a bed at the raid farm, despite being 1000 blocks away. We decided to kill the villager and breed all 10 that we needed over at the breeding spot. The breeding spot is next to a villager trading hall with 48 villagers in it. Once we placed the 10 beds for breeding, the villagers used for breeding decided to link to one of the 10 new beds. They continued to breed anyway, and then when 3 villagers were bred things got crazy. All of a sudden, the 12 villagers on the bottom floor of the trading hall decided they wanted one of the 10 beds for breeding. All of the beds in the breeding room had green particles above them and all of the villagers were now randomly switching between beds. Luckily, we were on a realm and were able to back it up, but now we don’t dare work with villagers again or everything will break.
