Before updating the game up to 1.13.0 my experience with the game was 0 lag, 0 crashes, and no GUI issues. When I update the game I noticed that the screen safe area was off and it was prompting for a change of screen safe area. So I did and quickly realized that Minecraft is treating my device as an unidentified screen size device and most of the GUI was cut off and the buttons and hot bar were pushed away from the bottom of the screen and were pushed to the center. I’m currently frustrated because the device i’m using is large in size and the buttons being pushed towards the center makes it difficult to play. The screenshots show the GUI errors from before 1.13.0 and after. Another issue is that lag has been present when it was not before, and rendering has slowed down by a lot. I know it’s not my device because it’s still running at its peak performance and minecraft has never had issues with the game before. I’ve also had some unexpected crashes while scrolling, typing, or editing skins. I really hope this is fixed because this new update has frustrated me to the point that i’m willing to not play the game until these issues are fixed. Now I know this will most likely not get seen and fixed but i thought i might share these issues. Please fix them Mojang, I believe in you.
