Okay, so to preface this; a group of friends and I were all playing on our private minecraft server. Everything was working as it normally does but then items started falling from the sky as if someone was breaking our structures. When we looked there was nothing broken though. Cut forward in the night and we suddenly had enchanted books on podiums popping up everywhere in our server with quest like text in them. This lead to us thinking it was something new patched into the game. Mind you we were in creative at the time. The text in the books grew more disturbing as the night went on. The books had us fight the ender dragon, then a Wither, then a guardian. One book was locked in a chest and rigged to blow up with a message reading "why wont you die" this continued with randomly appearing upside down crosses in game and more threatening messages in these enchanted books. After a while the text started glitching heavily and the authors of said books ranged from various Creepy Pasta characters. The final stages were the most disturbing. We had a final book that said it all would end if we "burned the black sheep" this of course lead us to a nearby mountaintop with a lone baby black sheep and another book. Inside were 50 pages...only four pages were filled out. The first, the second the 33rd and the 50th. They were written as follows:
1: "It (referring to the sheep) use to be calm but now resembels the fragment of a beast"
2: it must be destroyed, burned
3: this page was probably the most disturbing as it was a short url leading to a picture of a Satanic symbol...
4: the final page simply said: "please dont leave me"
We finished this trial...or bug or entity or whatever this was so it wouldn't continue to harass us in our private creative server. I wanted to report this because I'm not certain this was something intentionally placed in the game. If it was then by all means please correct me but the entire ordeal was unsettling if not...
