You probably had heard of this for a while now but to keep you updated, 1.13 is buggy as hell. It has so many bugs, most of the time, it's unplayable. All the Portal bugs, the Disappearing Items when Crafting, and all the other bugs that came with 1.13. I get it, you've heard us, and you're working on the problem, but man, if this is what was to be of the Official 1.13 Update, I would rather play 1.12 and wait for 1.13 to be fixed. I've been to the Beta, and 1.13 wasn't this buggy, what happened to it? I'll play again when it's fixed or when you guys bring out another update.
