I spawned a Wither after the recent update and was unable to defeat it. After just over half health, the Wither generated it shield, remained elevated above reach. It would rush my character, and I would them be able to strike it with my diamond sword, but after dozens of strikes, no further damage could be done. After the hours of no damage given to the mob, I had to despawn the Wither by changing gameplay to peaceful.
