It's as if the app cannot fully log in to Xbox live. Realms and saved skins cannot load. I OWN a realm, and neither I nor my girlfriend have been able to connect to it from our phones for at least 3 weeks. I have deleted and redownloaded the app, and logged out and logged back in multiple times. Nothing works. I am on an iPhone XR, and she is on an iPhone 7. I know this is specifically a problem with iOS as I also the Windows 10 and Nintendo Switch versions, and I can connect to the realm from those platforms.
I would like to reiterate that I am PAYING MONEY for a feature that literally does not function. I luckily have the option of connecting to my realm from other platforms, but my girlfriend has been unable to play AT ALL.
I attempted to attach photos but it isn't working. Basically the place where the realm should be either gets stuck on "finding realms..." or eventually reaches a point where it says it cannot connect to realms right now.
An interesting development: as I was typing this, I forced the saved skins to load by going into the shop, clicking my packs, and then going back to the main menu. My saved skins were all there. Unfortunately, this did not affect the realm.
ANOTHER UPDATE: I got the realm to load by joining an external server (Mineplex, but that doesn't matter). It seems joining that server forced everything else to work: saved skins and realms loaded. This is still an issue, though, I shouldn't have to figure out a janky workaround to get servers to load.
