Placing a Stone, NOT cobble or brick, just STONE will give the options to craft ALL the following.

Andesite: Slab, Stair, Wall

Diorite: Slab, Stair, Wall

Stone: Slab,

Polished Andesite (block), Polished Andesite Slab, Polished Andesite Slab (duplicate), Polished Andesite Stair, Polished Andesite Stair (Dupicate)

Polshed Diorite (Block), Polished Diorite Slab, Polished Diorite Slab (duplicate), Polished Diorite Stair, Polished Diorite Stair (duplicate)

Polshed Granite (Block), Polished Granite Slab, Polished Granite Slab (duplicate), Polished Granite Stair, Polished Granite Stair (duplicate)

 Stone Stair, Stone Bricks, Chiseled Stone Bricks, Stone Brick Slab, Stone Brick Stair, Stone Brick wall.

 - SMOOTHSTONE is NOT an option.  This bug appeared in conjunction with not being able to smelt smooth stone in a furnace.  I went to see if I could craft it, and these were all the options.

I am not certain if this is related, but mousing over the option in the stonecutter does not give the name card on the item. You have to select the item, then mouse over it in the craft side.
