My daughter has been playing Minecraft on her HUDL tablet for ages, however she has just started getting an error message about being unable to validate the licence.
As she's a child and has no purchasing set up, I bought the app and downloaded it onto the HUDL and she used to be able to play it.
I installed Family Link to help manage her tablet, and have a Google Family account.
I can open an run Minecraft on her HUDL under my ID, without getting the error. But I don't want to play it!
The problem seems to be the different accounts used to purchase and use the app.
I don't want her being able to purchase apps, or have to buy it again.
I'm struggling to work out how she can continue to play the game?
I appreciate similar bugs have been reported, but I can't align the email addresses so am stuck.
It would seem I need the licence check to look at the family library or to somehow transfer the purchase to her id?
