Recently, I posted about Minecraft on the iPad Mini (5th generation) and other newer devices to be absurdly unoptimized.  Frame rates and chunk loading remain faster on older devices such as the iPhone 7 - which launched in 2016 - than the iPhone XR - launched in 2018 and has the same processor in the iPad Mini (5th generation).  Unfortunately, the game has only grown worse. Now, the game constantly crashes when attempting to sign in to Xbox live or attempting to view skins or achievements by clicking the profile button.  I - again - urge Mojang to closely and urgently address these critical bugs.  The game on iOS has once again, reached such an unusable point, I also urge Mojang to completely overhaul development strategies on Apple platforms.
