I found various terrain oddities which don't seem intentional. One is where rivers split dessert biomes causing sugar cane to grow in them. Another may just be a coincidence or me being paranoid but villages do not seem to spawn as often or close to spawn when you create the world in survival as in creative. One more thing I found is that flowers generate on non-dirt blocks and variants causing some to pop off and others to sit there. I found multiple growing out of gravel. I found the next one in my creative world but not my survival one. There is no way to check the biome type in bedrock apart from the color differences, so it is one of two problems (or both), oceans are smaller than they should be, or lakes/rivers are bigger than they should be, in which case, oceans might have the same problem as villages.
