I had an Efficiency 5 Diamond Pickaxe and was mining out clay when I noticed that tapping the button to mine would mine blocks faster than holding it down. If I held the button down, I could not walk without running into the block I’m trying to mine. However, if I tap the mine button, I can sprint and not hit the block I’m trying to mine in front of me.
