source water blocks turn into ice whenever the player moves, whenever the ice block is broken it turns back into a source water block and whenever the player moves again it changes back into an ice block and the ice doesn't drop when mined with a silk touch tool however, whenever there is a block directly above the source water block it stays as water. re-logged and the same thing kept happening.
