Using render distances above 20ish chunks on my iPad Pro 2018 12.9i results in a behavior where at some point blocks faces don't get rendered properly anymore. Block updates are not happening anymore, destroying a block won't result in its visual destruction or it dropping but it will just loose its hitbox. It will then start displaying a loading bar in the center of the screen that doesn't go away for minutes straight and when it does the bug is still in full effect. Opening the menu at this point is basically a death sentence as you'll then get stuck in a menu that will effectively NEVER load. The only option is to completely close the game down without saving. This this will also reset the game/world to a prior state. You can't drown or die in this state, Frostwalker or similar enchantments are completely broken as well. You can wander along perfectly fine but at some point the world will stop loading block faces altogether. I have only seen this happening when exploring for quite a bit which leads me to believe its memory related or sth similar.
This bug has been an issue for quite some Versions and it's especially frustrating as it forces a hard close, appears at seemingly random moments and resets progress.
I can't upload stuff because of a missing token and an internal error? So here's an imgur gallery instead.
I have also added this YouTube clip of me with the bug in effect. It's too big to be attached otherwise
Update on the 1.14.60 Hotfix
The issue still persists but this time I was greeted with the bug immediately when I joined the world with 32 Chunks render distance. I didn't even have to go around for long, the chunk loading seems to have been broken right away. I am not going to upload another clip as the behavior is still the exact same.
