Nether portal makes water disapear bug

      Water Disappearing

      I wanted to move my nether portal so I placed water on it. My water disappeared and when I re-click the same spot my water appears again. I have video for evidence

       

      EDIT: It was stair blocks behind the portal and water was inside stair block
