I've noticed various visual bugs with the way that shadows appear for mobs stood, or more usually jumping on snow. Sometimes the shadow stretches up to connect to the underside of the mob as it jumps (I noticed this with Wolves particularly), sometimes the shadow appears broken as if being rendered partway through the snow tile.
