From what I saw, I was in survival mode, I ran the command /ability @p mayfly true, which allowed me to fly. (Edu Edition was on btw) When I revoked it, I was still flying. Fortunately though, when I stopped flying, I couldn't fly again, so it works, but the issue is that I was still flying when I revoked it.
