This issue started a few weeks ago. Both my mom and I share the same WiFi connection, and it's strong. We have the same exact version of Windows 10 Bedrock (it started on the 1.14) and we now both have the updated version of 1.16).
I'm able to join her world, but she's unable to join mine. When she tries, it always says "unable to join world". I've tried uninstalling my Minecraft, checking my internet settings, etc. I can invite her to my world, but she never receives it.
When I check on the multiplayer section in the setting menu, it’s grayed out and I can't click anything. I tried leaving the world, and making sure my multiplayer settings on the main page was correctly set up, which it was, then click on the pencil next to my world, also ensuring everything is set up, but once I'm in the game, it's grayed out every time.
A fix would be really great since my mom got Minecraft specifically to play in my world with me since quarantine is taking its toll.
Thank you,
EDIT TO ADD: I had my daughter try joining my world, and she received the same "unable to join world" message - we also share the same WiFi
EDIT #2: I joined my mother's world today for a few minutes to help her out with something. She asked for more help later, and when I went to join, I received the error message she was receiving when trying to join my world (the reason for this open bug issue) "unable to connect to world". Is this going to be fixed any time soon???
