before 1.16 if you use a command block to go into creative on a realm or world with default game mode as survival upon exiting and re entering said realm/world your gamemode would be set back to the the default in this case survival however after 1.16 this is no longer the case the realm/world remembers the gamemode you was in when you exited and uses this gamemode when you re enter. not ideal!
