The inventory has gone weird in 1.16.1:

1. Crafting recipes are not shown when you hover over an item whilst in the crafting table-irrespective of whether you have the ingredients for it or not.
2. Once you start crafting an item (say torches), the recipe does appear but then moves all your ingredients into the table, meaning when you exit the table, the game sticks everything you haven't used in your hotbar/first available space rather than where you had it, which is EXTREMELY ANNOYING.
