Xbox
I expected the game to load and allow me to play.
Instead, the game only gets to the loading screen (with the Minecraft logo and the progress bar). Then the console hard crashes and shuts down.
Steps to reproduce:
- Turn the Xbox One S console on. I keep it on power save mode, so it's always a clean boot.
- Log in to my profile.
- Start Minecraft.
- Wait until the loading screen with the Minecraft logo and the progress bar.
- Once the progress bar reaches about halfway, the console shuts down.
Further information:
I have been playing in my Xbox One S for some time now.
No problems until now, after the Nether update. I was able to play with the Nether update once, after that, the console crashes.
Other games run fine.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
- Removing and reinstalling the game. Did not help.
- Console reset, keeping data. Did not help.
- Console reset, deleting all games and data, followed by a reinstall of Minecraft. Did not help.
