I have about 8 bee hives at village I have secured and lit up to prevent mobs, and is guarded by 3 iron golems. For some reason after I breed all these bees, after a few days they disappear. I’ve stood and watched the hives to see if they’ll come out but they’ll all disappear except two. I know have plenty of flowers around and hives that I’ll watch them enter. I also don’t have so many bees that they despawn. At any given moment I had about 10 at one point and after a few days they disappeared except two.
