When crawling (not crouching, crawling) under a block that is full (e.g: smooth quartz) most of the screen becomes black in 3rd person. However, if you do it under a block like a trapdoor, it doesn’t happen.

      How to recreate:

Make a water stream, swim in it until the end of it. As a roof, use full blocks. When you reach the end of it, continue crawling under the full block roof, but with 3rd person activated. You won’t see anything. Then do the same thing with a trapdoor roof. You will be able to clearly see.
I’m not able to attach any screenshots ATM, but I believe the explanation on how to recreate it is enough.
