Sometimes a skeleton, zombie, or creeper spawns in my castle even though there are at least 20 torches and 10 lanterns. It's happened with witches and spiders as well. I used to think that we just needed more light but after we added more torches and lanterns, it still kept happening, except it was happening less. It was happening during the day AND at night.
