      Important

      This issue is fixed in 1.17.40. If you are still experiencing this issue, make sure the option "Force app to use full screen" is off for Minecraft so the game can see the screen cutout.

      On some devices, the game will try to display content over the cutouts (if any), which could potentially interfere with the game. This happens in all menus, and with all texture packs. A temporary workaround is to lower the Safe screen area, however this may cause tiny buttons.

      Notes before testing: The rounded corners are exempt from this report. Please report that separately if you consider it an issue.

      If your device supports it, make sure the option "Force app to use full screen" is off for Minecraft so the game can see the screen cutout.
