Bedrock
The overall performance of Bedrock Realms has been slowly declining over time with the first notable drops being observed around the time that Bedrock 1.19.12 was released.
Many players have tried to report this issue but have had their reports marked as Invalid. This has caused the in-game performance to slowly worsen as a result of the issue remaining unfixed.
The most common sign of a performance drop/lag spike is when blocks are placed or broken but no animations or particle effects can be seen and no sound effects can be heard. The blocks just appear and disappear and progress is not saved.
Eventually, the player will be kicked from the realm and a message that reads "Disconnected From Server" appears above an OK button against a background that uses the texture of a dirt block.
Clicking the OK button takes the player back to the world selection menu and rejoining the realm will result in it being rolled back to the most recent autosave.
These lag spikes happen at random and so far, very little has been done to resolve the issue that is causing the lag spikes.
This is a valid issue that many people have tried to report but have had no luck because of their reports are being treated as crashes and get marked invalid when in actual fact the issue is within the server that hosts the Realms service.
I know that some issues with the Realms server are reported automatically but this appears to be an exception because people keep reporting it and little to no action has been taken to resolve it
