I'm the owner of a Realm, but I can't connect to it, switch the world, download the world to singleplayer, close the Realm two times in a row, it won't let me do anything. When I try to join, it loads for several minutes before failing to connect. This is what it looks like when it can't connect:
(When my brother tries to join the Realm, he gets the same error message.)
For downloading the Realm to my singleplayer world, yesterday it got to about 72% downloaded then failed, but today it only made it to about 31%. Here is a screenshot:
About closing my Realm, the first time I launch Minecraft, I can close and open my Realm, but after that it just loads indefinitely. I wanted to see if it would tell me if there's an error, but after about 15 minutes of letting it try to close the Realm, it still says it's closing it. I don't know how long I would have to wait for it to give me an error message, so I don't have a screenshot for it.
Thank you for reading this, and I hope that something can be done about this soon. My siblings and I are very eager to get back on our Realm.
Update: I wasn't sure if I should attach the latest.log file on this post or on a comment, so just in case it should be on this post, here's the latest.log file after failing to connect to Realms.
UPDATE #2: I was able to fix it! I can join the Realm easily again and everything works perfectly! I don't know if this will work for everyone, but I think it's worth a shot.
- Go to your Realm settings.
- Go to "World backups".
- Click "Download latest".
- Let it download, but make sure you have enough room for it. I couldn't download mine at first because it turned out I didn't have enough room on my drive.
- Go back to your other settings, click "Reset world", click "Upload world", select the world you just downloaded, then give it time to upload.
That should be it! Downloading the world and reuploading it seems to have worked out any bugs that were there.
