EDIT- nothing wrong with realm, exactly as intended

My friends and I haven't played on the server in months, decided to log on and the server took a few minutes to load. Finally did and immediately noticed that I had lost all my items, the world was different (like a different seed) and there was water everywhere in weird patterns and there were nether fortresses and bastion remnants and ruined nether portals everywhere. The structures had entities spawning in them. I jumped in the water and took damage as if from lava. It did appear to be the overworld, but there were fire particles too, that are in the nether.
