Why can I simply not put a word in search without getting: Error in the JQL Query: Expecting operator before the end of the query. The valid operators are '=', '!=', '<', '>', '<=', '>=', '', '!', 'IN', 'NOT IN', 'IS' and 'IS NOT'.

This mean nothing to me, as all I want to do is complete a search to see if the topic has already been reported. I do not want to have to figure out some specalised queries, to accomplish this. I cannot understand why it has been set up in this silly way. No search engines use these methods in this day an age and it is about time Microsoft sorted this bit of nonsense out.
