      When looking at the note on https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/4408894664461-Minecraft-Java-Edition-Skins, it states you must migrate to a Mojang Studios account, however this is outdated information as all accounts are now required to migrate to a Microsoft Account to continue playing.

      The link in the notice is currently broken and therefore should go to https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360050865492-Minecraft-Java-Edition-Account-Migration-FAQ instead.
