As the titles states. Not sure if this is a bug, or just a really annoying and bad feature.
When searching for something, the top results aren't purely unresolved ones, it will also show resolved ones, such as duplicates, works as intended, and fixed. Most of the time they also aren't what I'm looking for, so they are extremely inconvinient.
An alternative to the current system would be the ability to filter search by newest, or as unresolved first. If this is already a thing, it should be more easy to select.
Steps to reproduce.
- Search for some keywords that describe a bug you know of, but haven't previously viewed, as it seems to show reports you've viewed first.
- Check the resolution of the top results. I often find that the first is unresolved, the next couple are resolved, then a few afterwards are unresolved.
A better search function could also help reduce the amount of duplicates. My first report was a duplicate for this reason. Couldn't find anything that was unresolved on the first page, so I figured it hadn't been reported.
