Unable to log in with Mojang account on minecraft. How to link minecraft to microsoft?

      Hi. I have minecraft on my mojang account, but my microsoft account says I don't own minecraft. The microsoft virtual assistant told me to sign in with my Mojang account on minecraft.net, but the only account it will recognize is my microsoft account. Microsoft live support sent me here. How can I link my copy of minecraft to my microsoft account?
